If you had three relevant patents to check against, you ran the comparison three times and kept notes in a separate document. That workflow worked, but it was slow. The new multi-document comparison lets you load your draft and up to five references into one view. Overlapping passages get highlighted with different colors per reference, and you can toggle individual documents on and off to isolate specific conflicts. The color coding sounds like a small thing, but in practice it is the feature that actually saves time. You stop asking 'wait, which patent was that sentence from?' and start editing.
