We are excited to introduce AI-powered prior art search across 17 global patent offices. Starting today, a single query on AutoPatent searches the United States (USPTO), Europe (EPO), China (CNIPA), Japan (JPO), Korea (KIPO), WIPO/PCT, Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Canada, Australia, India, Russia, Brazil, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Singapore at the same time. The new multi-office search uses semantic AI to understand your invention description and find conceptually similar patents across all covered jurisdictions, even when different patent offices use different terminology. Results are ranked by relevance and clearly labeled with their source office. Where official bibliographic records are available, AutoPatent returns those directly; where they are not, results are marked as AI-assisted analysis so you always know what you are looking at. This feature addresses one of the biggest challenges in patent work: prior art is global, but most search tools only cover one or two jurisdictions. An invention that looks novel in the US may already be disclosed in a Chinese utility model or a Japanese patent application. By searching 17 offices simultaneously, AutoPatent helps inventors and patent professionals catch these cross-border conflicts early, before they become expensive problems during examination. The multi-office search supports queries in English, Chinese, and Japanese. You can filter results by office, date range, and legal status. Each result includes a similarity score, a summary of the overlapping claims, and a link to the full record. We built this feature because inventors deserve to see the full global picture before they file. A prior art search that only covers one country is not a search; it is a guess. AutoPatent multi-office search turns that guess into a informed decision. Try it at https://getautopatent.com.
